Amanda Ragusa
Lead Teacher
My name is Amanda Ragusa and I am so excited to be joining the teaching team at The Barn!
I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Massachusetts in 2000 to attend Boston University, where I received both my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and my Masters Degree in Special Education. I worked at the Boston University Preschool as the Lead Teacher after graduating and then became a Kindergarten teacher in Bedford, MA. After welcoming our first child in 2010 my husband and I moved to Acton where we now live with our three children. In 2014 my two oldest children started at the Barn and I absolutely fell in love with the welcoming environment, the warmth of the teachers, and the creativity that was inspired in children everyday. While my sons attended The Barn I would often substitute and was thrilled when I was invited to take on the role of an Assistant Teacher the following year. After taking some time off to welcome my now three year old daughter I am thrilled to be rejoining the team!
