The Answers You Need
What does it mean to be a Cooperative school.
At the Barn teachers and parents work together to ensure that a child's first school experience is happy and positive. We are run by a parent board of directors, and all members are welcome to attend monthly board meetings.

Each family is asked to participate by being available to help in our classroom about once a month, and to full fill a committee assignment. A list of assignments are available and members may choose a task that suits their tastes and skill sets.
What are your child/teacher ratios?
Each of our classes is designed for a maximum of 15 children and 2 teachers.
What are your teachers' qualifications?
Each member of our teaching team is a college graduate. Our lead teachers are certified by the state and continue to take classes in a variety of topics, including early childhood development, curriculum building, special education topics, nutrition, and child safety.
